Hello again, I’m Cynthia

About me

As a multidisciplinary UX Designer I enjoy creating user-focused innovative solutions that meet the needs of both the user and the client. Drawing on my more than 10 years of experience in International Sales and Hotel Operations, I made an organic transition to UX Design. My extensive hospitality background has given me valuable insights into what makes for a great user experience.

Raised in Managua, Nicaragua, I moved to the states to attend the University of Florida, where I obtained a BA degree in Tourism & Hospitality Management, as well as a minor in Business Administration.

I currently reside in New York City, where my previous role at the iconic New York institution, The Plaza Hotel, has provided me with invaluable experiences that has instilled in me how essential clear communication, problem-solving mentality, and adapting quickly to a changing environment are to the success of any team.

From one iconic institution to another, my current role at Google, has allowed me to flourish my skill set which covers the entire lifecycle, from conducting UX research to journey mapping, designing user workflows, creating UX visual designs, working with cross-functional stakeholders and building compelling decks that bring UX stories to life.
